Things had gone downhill in Hundred Acre Wood since Christopher Robin came into his teenage years. Rebelling against his parents, Christopher fell into the wrong crowd and succumbed to the pressure of smoking, drinking and dabbling in recreational drugs. His carefree woodland friends were unaware of Christopher's new habits, but they did take note of his irrational behaviour when he would find the time to visit them. Although they were always pleased to see him, no one was more happier nor antsy at his arrival than Rabbit.
'He's coming today right?' Rabbit asked Pooh bear.
'Yes Rabbit, Christopher Robin said he would be here at noonish' replied Pooh bear.
'Christopher Robin always comes on These-days' piped up Piglet.
"It's 'Thurs-days' Piglet, and its noonish now. You would think he would stick to his word' huffed Rabbit.
Coming up from behind, Christopher Robin overheard Rabbit's frustrations.
'It's noonish when I say its noonish Rabbit' he snapped.
'Oh bother. You scared the Pooh out of me Christopher' sighed Pooh bear.
'Toughen up you silly old bear. You're gonna be a scaredy cat like Piglet soon'
'I-I-I wasn't scared Christopher' stuttered Piglet.
'Sure you weren't Piglet' Christopher sneered. 'Rabbit, do you have something for me?'
Even though this isn't finished, it has so much potential! I really like the way you referenced from the original, with things like "these-days" and the suffix "-ish". I look forward to reading the final piece (:

DeleteHi Courtenay, even though your fanfic is not finish but this is my favourite cartoon. But can you please change your font a little bit bigger, this can make it easier for the reader to read your story. It just my own suggestion to help you to impove your story until you finish it. Apart from that, I really enjoying reading your story. Looking forward to reading the final one.

haha i was just thinking of how I'm going to tie in Eeyore and Tigger. I have a fair idea of where I'm going with the story it's just a matter of finding the right words.
Deleteha well i liked it, what i espicaially liked was the adjustment to piglets dialogue to make it seem more like the character so yeah pretty good.
